Many of the incidents described by Biff actually happened to someone else. They are taken from news stories or things that happened to the author over the last 50 years or so. Biff is entirely fictional and not based on any real person; neither are the central characters in his story real or based on actual persons. The real events are thinly disguised in an effort to remain true but unidentifiable. I have several degrees, including philosophy, psychology and public administration. I qualified for the Triple Sigma Society and held a Mensa membership for many years. I have sold millions of sentences, thousands of paragraphs, hundreds of stories and a few poems, though I never made much money at it. I live very well and am considered a success by most people. I continue to study theology on my own as well as in informal classes sponsored by a church. I have a short attention span and am notoriously lazy. This blog is one outlet for my creative energy among a dozen or so, including other blogs linked to this one. I am considered a leader at church and my faith an example for others. I am often asked to say prayers at gatherings.
Biff does not speak for me.
